Hadley celebrated her First Birthday today. Marcus and I started off the day by singing "Happy Birthday" while getting her out of bed. She seemed to like it, but was a bit confused why we were singing to her. After going to church and lunch Hadley got to open her presents. She loved the dollar store balloon and played with it forever before actually getting to the presents. She did pretty well at opening the gifts, she took out the tissue paper and tore the wrapping paper like a pro! After presents she took a nap to rest up for her first birthday cake!!! She did really well with that too. It took her a minute to dive in, but she got into it and then started talking to the cake and flinging cake and icing for Murphy to clean off of the kitchen floor. Then, after getting her on a sugar high, we went to our Sunday night Reach groups where everyone wished her a very happy birthday and could not believe she is already ONE YEAR OLD!!
Hadley has been such a blessing to our lives. Life would just not be the same without her! She is such a joy and brings so much laughter every day. We love her very much!!!! HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY HADLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
